Meet Debbie,
Bubble witch extraordinaire and owner of Enchanted Bubbles Deborah has been a giant bubble making biz for nearly 7 years.
In 2022 we met via a business group for ladies and decided to collaborate and bring you the Family Bubble Photo Experience based on Hayling Island. I caught up with Deb recently to ask her all things witchy and bubbly!
Tell me more about Enchanted Bubbles?
I started making Giant Bubbles as a way to engage with people at events when I was running a family-based business back in 2016. My sister-in-law is a Bubble Entertainer too and she got me started. I really enjoyed seeing the joy the bubble bring to people so since then I've been providing bubble magic for birthday parties (including an 80th Birthday Celebration), schools, youth groups, Christmas parties, memorial bubbles, photo shoots, weddings, community/charity events and more!
I am based in Waterlooville and cover Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey.

Why are you called the Bubble Witch?
My big break came when I was invited to attend Rogate Pumpkin Patch in October 2017 and I wanted to dress up in theme for Halloween. It is where I became "The Bubble Witch" and from there Enchanted Bubbles began!
What is the most exciting part for you when bubble making?
The most exciting part is seeing peoples faces when they a) see the giant bubbles and b) realise they can make them too.
What is your favourite/most joyous part about your bubble making biz?
I love that my bubble making biz is so inclusive! I can cater for all ages and abilities and it's often a great activity to bring families together too.

What is your favourite part of the Family Bubble Photo Experience?
My favourite part is getting to stand back and really watch the families immerse themselves in making the bubbles! I often find it's the parents who really get into it and the children love seeing their parents being so playful.
Tell me more about your bubble wands.
So, the wands that people get to play with have been made by me and the bigger performance wands that i use have been made by mt sister-in-law. I think my favourite wand has got to be my bug garland wand as it makes loads of big bubbles at the same time. I also love my smoke bubble machine and kid in a bubble kit as these feel extra magical.
What do you offer clients that no one else does?
I offer fully interactive bubble entertainment with my own unique touch of magic and I really hope to soon be able to offer my skill set as part of a Community interest Company so that I can make it more accessible and bring Bubble Wellbeing workshops to the community.
What advice would you give first time bubblers?
Research different bubble recipes and make your own!
What is the best bubble making weather?
Contrary to what most people think, the best weather is when it is a bit misty/drizzly and ther eis a steady but gentle breeze. The humidity helps the bubbles last longer. Still, hot days are the worst days to make bubbles as they make bubbles fall and evaporate quicker.
What is your number 1 top bubbling tip?
Use the wind to your advantage when making bubbles outdoors!
